Praxinoscope

This set includes – Wooden Markers, the “Praxinoscope” set, and one of our selected spinning tops (“Planet Spinner”, “Atom Spinner”, or “Spider Spinner”).

• The learning adventure begins! With this educational STEM set, your child will embark on an interactive journey through the history of animation. They will explore the principles of optics and mechanics in an easy and understandable way, learning how the illusion of moving images works.

• During the journey, your child will travel back in time and meet Émile Reynaud – an inventor striving to create the first praxinoscope. They will help Reynaud overcome creative challenges and turn drawings into moving images.

• The set includes a detailed construction manual to easily assemble the praxinoscope. During playtime, children can experiment with different animation strips and see how their own drawings come to life. Through building and playing, they will develop creativity, fine motor skills, and deepen their knowledge of optics and animation.
